5. The Mei Ting Yuan Massage Experience
We offer Northern Thai massage techniques that are relatively uncommon in Taiwan. Each session brings together pressure, assisted stretching and a carefully controlled pace. Before the session begins, our therapist asks about your preferred pressure, the areas you would like to focus on and any areas that should be avoided, adjusting the treatment according to how you feel that day.
We follow consistent procedures and training standards throughout reception, consultation and massage service. If the pressure feels too light or too strong, or if a position feels uncomfortable, please tell your therapist at any time.
6. Questions About Physical Conditions
Can I receive a massage during my period?
If you are not experiencing significant discomfort, please inform our therapist when booking and again before the session. We can adjust the pressure and avoid the abdominal area. If you feel particularly unwell or have a specific physical condition, consider resting and following advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Can pregnant guests receive a massage?
We recommend booking after the 16th week of a stable pregnancy and once you have confirmed that massage is suitable for your current condition. Please tell us your stage of pregnancy and anything that requires particular attention so that we can arrange our Prenatal Massage Therapy appropriately.
7. Booking and Payment Questions
Can I request a specific therapist?
Yes. Please give us the therapist's name when booking. We will try to accommodate your request according to the therapist's schedule and appointment availability. If your preferred therapist is unavailable or fully booked, we can recommend another suitable therapist.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept cash and bank transfers. Please contact us before your appointment if you have any payment-related questions.
8. Address, Transportation and Reservations
Mei Ting Yuan Muxin SPA is located at No. 305, Fuxing North Road, Songshan District, Taipei City, Taiwan. Take the Taipei MRT Wenhu Line to Zhongshan Junior High School Station — we are approximately a four-to-five-minute walk from the station. When booking, please provide your preferred date, expected arrival time, number of guests, treatment name and treatment duration. Please also tell us in advance if you would like to request a therapist, book Prenatal Massage Therapy or avoid a particular area. Guests staying at a nearby hotel may also ask the hotel concierge or front desk to contact us for assistance.
